Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL)>
UA Registration & Licensing Requirement
Based on the weight of the aircraft/drone:
| less than 250g | UA Registration is not required |
|---|---|
| 250g to 1.5kg | UA Registration is required (S$25) |
| 1.5kg to 7kg | UA Registration + Basic Training (UABT) |
| more than 7kg | UA Registration + Pilot Licence (UAPL) |

| UAPL Class A | 7kg to 25kg |
| UAPL Class B | more than 25kg |
4 steps to obtain a UA Pilot Licence
- Attend a UA training course (optional, but highly recommended)
- Take the CAAS Thery Test (mandatory)
- Take the CAAS Practical Test (mandatory)
- Apply for the UAPL Digital Licence
